Big Brother (Big Brothers & Sisters of Canada): (July 20 –present). Serving as a role model for a 10 year-old boy. Main responsibilities include giving him support, guidance, and friendship.

On-Line List Manager (Psychology): (Aug. 99 –present). Manage and moderate an on-line email discussion group for psychologists, social theorists, and psychology students. I control for topical discussions and civil dialogue. At times, off-list mediation is required to resolve personal conflicts. Current membership is approximately 120. Anger Management Workshop Volunteer: (Apr. 1/00 –Jun. 15/00). Student observer in a 10-week program facilitated by Allison Hay, MSW, of the Centerpoint Program, Alberta Hospital, Edmonton.

Victim Support Worker: (Feb. 97 –Aug. 97): Victim Support Services of Yellowknife, NWT. Included a 40-hour counseling training program. Provided information, referrals, and emotional support for victims of crime.

Musician (1995 & 1996): As rhythm guitarist and back-up vocalist in a band, performed for various charity functions such as the Lion's Club Easter Fund Raiser, Yellowknife Women's Centre, & City of Yellowknife's Concert in the Park.

Artistic Director: (1993 & 1994) Yellowknife's Folk on the Rocks music festival. Duties included contract negotiations, stage and workshop planning, & stage volunteer coordination.
